Equilibrium has implemented numerous reforestation projects. In total, Equilibrium has planted more than 170,000 trees (seedlings). Typically, we utilize trained and experienced hand crews to assist with reforestation efforts. We feel that planting by hand improves survival of the seedlings and insures proper coverage.
To date, Equilibrium's reforestation projects have been on lands owned by Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. We have reforested lands at Benson Creek Natural Area, Warren Prairie Natural Area, and Pine City Natural Area.
We plant to standards set forth by the National Resource Conservation Service.
We conduct plot checks during the reforestation to insure the planting is conducted to satisfactory levels.
